Sample weekly scheduleWEEK 15 SPCH 482 – 5/3- Participate in Conference Activities - FINAL EXAM: Open Book Test (from midterm on) COMM 491 – 5/3 - Chapter 24. Management Review - Conference Discussion Questions - Due: May 3 Final project - FINAL EXAM: The final exam (open book) will cover material from weeks 7 through the final week of class and is similar to the midterm and consists of two parts. In one part, you will use correct copymarking symbols to edit sentences for grammar and punctuation. You will note the reason for the editing. For example, if a sentence is punctuated incorrectly, you might note sentence structures, such as "simple," "compound," "complex," and so forth. In the second part, you will use copymarking symbols to edit a section of a report. You will need to edit for grammar and punctuation as well as for spelling and consistency in capitalization, hyphenation, and use of numbers. You will make a style sheet and mark for typesetting. CMST 385 – 5/4 - Read module 6: Internet Security, Privacy, and Legal Issues. Read the Overview, Objectives, Commentary, Glossary, and complete the Self-Assessment for your own review. - Participate in Conference #4 - Review the requirements for the CMST 385 Web site project. - Website Project Due - You must submit the URL of your finished Web site project by the end of this week. - FINAL EXAM: Review the Tutorial Summary and the Quick Check Answers at the back of the tutorials completed in the course. Make sure you know how to use all of the tags that you learned in the tutorials COMM 493 –5/5 - Revisions: Round 3 - FINAL EXAM: The final (closed book) exam will consist of a number of true and false questions, a series of fill-in-the-blank questions and two essay questions. The true and false and fill-in-the-blank questions will cover material that appeared on your midterm. If you study those midterm questions, you should do well on this part of the final. You will also be writing two essay answers in the final. Everyone will be required to answer the first essay question, which will cover the creative process. You will have a choice of topics for the second essay question. Possible topics include: creativity, gestalt, design as music, and plagiarism in design. |
