Go slowWhatever are the most amounts of classes you've taken at once before, add one or two to it per semester until you reach your maximum comfort zone. Five worked for me as my max, but you may need to do less, or you may be able to do even more. I took five classes, so I worked on one class each day of the week Monday – Friday. Then I had weekends free! It took a couple of hours per day, max, to complete that week's assignments for one class. Usually it only takes a half hour or so if you follow the plan, and if no big assignment happens to be due. Going from one class per semester to five is too much of a shock. You need time to adjust to the routine of all of the below habits that need to become second nature. The summer semester is the best for taking lots of classes. There’s no wasted time during the summer semester, and by the time the semester gets in full swing, it's almost over! The summer semester is the easiest of all the semesters. Yay summer school! |
